Capacity is impacted by many factors and predicting T2E (Time to Exhaustion) has become a complex science. While traffic volumes drive most capacity monitoring, other factors including types of traffic, alarm intervals, and device resource consumption all may be modeled with traffic to provide far more reliable T2E views that look 60, 90, or even 180 days into the future.
NetVision Capacity Manager uses advanced modeling to inform planners where their networks will be at risk, and when that risk will begin to escalate. By analyzing several data points, Capacity Manager creates prioritized replacement and expansion recommendations.

It also provides a “what if” simulator that allows Network Planners to instantly visualize and understand altered capacity impacts by manually changing traffic or other modeled variables. Capacity Manager also provides a detailed analytics view that allows users to sort, slice, and drill down to specific network components and their capacity risks.
